ACRE 2 Seminar

May 2011 at Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery

The drought had ended, and our region had succumbed to overland flooding. The context was different to ACRE 1, but the aim was the same – to encourage communities to re-imagine their landscape through the lens of the arts and creativity.

ACRE 2 involved presentations from artists, historians and farmers including Irish artist, writer and curator Fiona Woods; artist and farmer Neil Berecry-Brown; and The G.R.A.I.N Store chair William Kelly.

They shared stories of their communities thriving in a time of agricultural change.

ABC RN’s Michael Shirrefs featured the ACRE 2 Seminar on his Artworks program. To download audio and see images, visit
