January 2010 at Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery

BIBLIOBOX is a small box with big stories. A travelling arts archive, it made its way to Swan Hill thanks to The ACRE Project.

BIBLIOBOX started in the Netherlands in 2005 and journeyed across the world collecting films, music and stories from artists and rural communities. It features hundreds of case studies of communities like ours, facing adverse environmental, economic, agricultural issues and responding creatively.

It invites people to make their own contribution to contemporary art and ….

A launch event was held, and the BIBLIOBOX stayed at the Gallery for just a few days before continuing its Australian journey.
